Stewards are the heartwood of our programs and projects! We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist our staff and partners. Here’s how you can help.
Monitor and Survey Crew
Document wildlife and plant observations for special forest projects and studies.
Stewardship Crew
Get hands-on with projects in trail tending, forest restoration, construction and maintenance.
Outreach Crew
Promote the forest at events and schools, connect with potential partners and sponsors!
Invasive Species Crew
Receive training, then work to combat invasive plants in the forest and surrounding area.

Stewardship takes many forms at the FEC. Our volunteers are college students, seniors, families, and anyone else with a passion for this special urban woodland gem.
