4th of July Entrance Road Closure

Due to the new location for the City of Wauwatosa fireworks, the Forest Exploration Center entrance road (Forest Exploration Drive) at Swan Boulevard will be closed on Saturday, July 4th from late morning until after the fireworks.

If you’re planning to visit the Forest this Saturday, please note that the main FEC trailhead will not be accessible by car. The entrance road will be open again on Sunday, July 5th.

The trails are accessible from the west side of the Forest. The Wil-O-Way Underwood parking lot and Underwood Parkway will be open on the 4th. Increased traffic is expected in the area.
