We’re celebrating the songbirds, birds of prey, and all the feathered migrants and residents of the Forest! Join us for a very special bird walk to observe and learn to identify some of the 158 species that rest, nest, and feed at the Forest Exploration Center each spring.
Chuck Hagner is the author of the American Birding Association Field Guide to Birds of Wisconsin (2019) and two other books about birds and bird watching. We’re delighted to have him lead this bird walk and share his expertise!
Our Birdathon team, the FEC Songbird Squad, will also be conducting a bird count along the way. You can join the team to help us raise funds for bird conservation and FEC’s outreach.
